The representative from Matsushita Corporation hurried to meet with the company president, Ishigen Matsui (a fictional character, do not pursue this!), and upon entering the office, saw Matsui standing before the floor-to-ceiling window, gazing out. Hearing the footsteps come to a halt, Matsui asked,
“Has the representative from Excellence Corporation refused the terms we proposed?”
“Yes, President. The three female presidents of Excellence spoke firmly in their refusal, leaving us no room for negotiation. They’ve already departed our headquarters, saying we can notify them to return when we’ve reconsidered the terms.” The Matsushita negotiator replied nervously.
“I understand. We underestimated Excellence. No wonder they’ve accumulated over a billion dollars in capital within just a few years. The leaders of Excellence are truly remarkable. Their attitude shows they have a clear grasp of the future prospects for VHS-format recorders. That enormous market is not something we can monopolize, and now the pie is in their hands. We are merely seeking a share. We must be pragmatic. Forget about purchasing the patents outright; I believe Excellence will accept licensing. However, we should divide the markets: Japan, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia should belong to us, while America, Europe, and the Americas can go to Excellence. What they do there is their concern, not ours. As long as we secure these regions, it will be a great gain for us.” Matsui spoke without turning his head.
“Very well, President. We’ll inform Excellence that our terms have changed and resume negotiations tomorrow!” said the Matsushita negotiator.
“No need to rush. Delay two or three days. We mustn’t let Excellence think we’re desperate for the patent; that would weaken our position in future negotiations. Prepare thoroughly for the next round. Consider every possibility. Also, be mindful of our competitors; we’re not the only ones interested in this patent. You must be ready for any unexpected developments. Is that clear?”
“Yes, President!” The Matsushita negotiator, drenched in sweat, left Matsui’s office.
Having left the headquarters of Matsushita, the three women and their bodyguards joined the convoy of the Kinoshita family. Led by Yuri Kinoshita, they began touring the famous city of Tokyo. Sitting in the luxurious Cadillac, Selene asked Mary,
“What is Wei Hua up to? Why did he send the three of us to handle the negotiations and not come himself, claiming he’s conducting some experiment? But I’ve already asked Mr. Cohen, head of Changbai Technology Laboratory, and he says there’s nothing important requiring Wei Hua’s presence. I think he’s sneaking around, probably up to no good. Do you suppose he’s off fooling around with Sakurako Kinoshita? We shouldn’t have left him alone in America. If he’s running wild with Sakurako, it’s your fault!”
“Enough, don’t blame us. I don’t think Wei Hua is hiding from us to fool around with Sakurako. If he wanted her, she’d already be in his bed; why wait until now? Just because the lab isn’t busy doesn’t mean Wei Hua has nothing important to do. Don’t forget, our little fellow is full of secrets. He’s surely keeping something from us. Once he’s finished, we can ask him, and he’ll tell us. Besides, didn’t he promise to come to Japan? We’ll wait for him here. Let’s establish the branch first, then launch our investment plan when he arrives,” Mary said to Selene.
“That’s right, Selene. Don’t let your imagination run wild. I bet you can’t sleep at night without Wei Hua holding you, so you start inventing nonsense. Tonight, I’ll hold you for Wei Hua, so you don’t have to fret. Wei Hua told me that whenever you spend the night at his place, you need him to hold you to fall asleep. Looks like you really can’t do without him!” Jessie teased Selene.
“You’re no better! Every time you sleep with Wei Hua, your moans can be heard two miles away, and your sweet nothings make my skin crawl. ‘Honey, I want more!’ ‘Wei, harder! Faster!’ The things you say!” Selene retorted, exposing Jessie’s secrets without mercy. Jessie’s face turned bright red upon hearing Selene’s words; she stood up and moved to Selene’s side, grabbing her and twisting her gently, saying,
“No need to bring me into this! You’re just as bad, your words are even more embarrassing than mine, though you don’t say them as often. Of all things to mention, you bring this up—just wait, I’ll teach you a lesson!”
Mary chimed in, “That’s right, she deserves a proper lesson! How could you say such things? Luckily it’s just the three of us here, otherwise it would be mortifying if word got out!”
Selene, struggling playfully with Jessie, replied, “What’s there to be afraid of? I like sleeping with Wei, I love the feeling of him holding me. Don’t you like it too? If you don’t, you can give him to me!”
“In your dreams! We never said we don’t like Wei. We’re just not as uninhibited as you, always talking about it,” Mary said.
“What’s the big deal? Isn’t this the age of sexual liberation? Besides, sleeping with Wei is truly enjoyable. Do you know, every time I spend the night with Wei, we make love several times, and he always brings me to climax. The feeling is incredible. I often think his body is extraordinary. Why don’t the three of us try being with him together sometime? I’ve never tried it with more than one person. What do you think of my idea?” Selene asked.
