The Beautiful CEO Fell in Love with Me Passing Through the Ends of the Earth 3367 words 2026-04-13 18:10:14

With a muffled sound, the man immediately spat out a mouthful of blood and was sent flying. Ye Chen didn’t pause, his left foot swept through the air with a series of side kicks, knocking down five or six opponents in one breath. Those who fell hardly managed to get up again, a testament to the sheer force of Ye Chen’s kicks. The rest, intimidated, encircled him but dared not attack.

Deputy Captain Jin squeezed through the crowd, gritting his teeth. “Brothers, grab your weapons!”

With a clatter, one after another they rushed out from under tables, each brandishing an iron rod. With weapons in hand, their confidence surged. Deputy Captain Jin charged at the front, fury written across his face, nearly breaking into a run.

Ye Chen narrowed his eyes, a chilling light flashing within them.

“Die!” Deputy Captain Jin roared through clenched teeth, wishing nothing more than to bring Ye Chen down with a single blow.

“Hmph.” Ye Chen snorted coldly and ducked, evading Jin’s iron rod as he slipped to Jin Guoyou’s back. Ye Chen’s foot shot up high—and with a thunderous crash, Jin Guoyou was knocked to the ground. The force was so brutal it nearly broke his spine. After slamming into the floor, Jin Guoyou lost consciousness.

Captain Cao stood dumbfounded, staring at the scene. This new guy was unexpectedly formidable. He’d only met Ye Chen a handful of times and knew almost nothing about him. After flattening Jin Guoyou, Ye Chen strode step by step toward Captain Cao.

A trace of sweat appeared on Cao’s forehead, the cigarette dangling from his mouth already extinguished at some point.

“Captain Cao, I hope you’ll conduct yourself properly from now on.” Ye Chen smiled coldly, then fished a lighter from his pocket and lit Cao’s cigarette for him.

After gathering his belongings, Ye Chen carried a box out of the security office. Li Tieniu stood at the door, watching him. Ye Chen gave him a reassuring smile. “Don’t worry, I’m not leaving—just changing departments. We’ll get the guys together for dinner tonight!”

“Alright!” Li Tieniu immediately grinned knowingly.

“Hey, where are you going now, boss?” Mouse and Prawn hurried after him.

“Damn it, I’ve been transferred to Sales!” Ye Chen grumbled.

“Hell with that! If you’re not happy, we’ll just quit. Why stick around for this crap?” Prawn fumed.

“Sigh, you guys wouldn’t understand…” Ye Chen tilted his head back, gazing at the sky, nearly in tears. Damn it, he’d ruined his own reputation—now he was basically a slave. Why did all the misfortunes fall to him? Mouse, usually taciturn, grinned and said, “Boss has fallen for that beautiful CEO.”

“Shut up with your nonsense!” Ye Chen glared at Mouse.

“Boss, you’ve never been this nervous about anyone!” Mouse grinned. “If you like her, Prawn and I can just tie her up and bring her to your bed tonight. Once you’re done, we’ll leave this dump!”

“Don’t mess around. I want to make her kneel and beg me properly!” Ye Chen snorted, hugging his box as he walked away. Inwardly, though, he wailed—just let it not be me kneeling and begging her to let me go. He realized he’d boasted too much.

Carrying his personal items, Ye Chen arrived at the sales department, signed in, and completed his onboarding. The department head assigned him to Sales Team One as the supervisor. It was true—Team One was overwhelmingly female. As soon as he entered, he saw six delicate beauties huddled together in discussion. The only other man shrank in a corner, fiddling with his computer.

Ye Chen’s arrival drew all eyes to him.

“Hello, everyone. I’m the new supervisor for Sales Team One!” Ye Chen waved to them.

“Huh? It’s you?” The six women all widened their eyes.

“Uh… you know me?” Ye Chen was taken aback, placing his things on his desk while studying them. Only one among the six could be called attractive; the other five had decent figures but rather plain faces.

The girls nodded hastily. “You’re the most mysterious man in the company—the one who played a trick on Deputy Director Qian and wasn’t punished!”

“Uh…” Ye Chen was stunned. Since when had he become so famous?

The lone man in the office looked up and stared wide-eyed at Ye Chen. “Ye Chen!”

“It’s you?” Ye Chen recognized the familiar face—it was Liu Shang, who’d come to him for help secretly photographing Li Ruo on his first day.

“Haha, can’t believe you’re our new supervisor!” Liu Shang leapt up, clapping Ye Chen on the shoulder. “This is great—finally another guy! I’m thrilled!”

“You lucky dog, how can you not appreciate such a blessed place?” Ye Chen grinned.

“You don’t understand!” Liu Shang leaned in and whispered, “Of these girls, only Fang Fei is okay. I’m not interested in the other five. But rumor has it Fang Fei is into girls—damn, such a beautiful woman, and she’s into women! Isn’t fate making fun of us?”

Ye Chen paused and glanced at the six women. The tallest, about 1.72 meters, had both a lovely face and a great figure. When she noticed Ye Chen looking at her, she smiled brightly. “Supervisor Ye, I’m Fang Fei. Please look after us from now on!”

“Supervisor Ye, do you have a girlfriend? Our Fang Fei doesn’t have a boyfriend yet—you two should get to know each other!” the other five girls joked.

“Uh…” Ye Chen glanced awkwardly at them. Clearly, he hadn’t established much authority on his first day.

As was custom, Ye Chen had to treat everyone to lunch. The Tianya Group had a staff cafeteria, but there was a distinction—ordinary staff ate the standard fare, while supervisors and above could dine in the executive canteen, where meals were individually prepared. Many employees were unwilling to eat in the regular canteen at noon, but since it was free, it became a love-hate relationship.

Hearing Ye Chen was treating, the girls and Liu Shang were so excited they nearly cried.

“Supervisor Ye, you’re too good to us!” Liu Shang was overjoyed.

“From now on, just call me Ye Chen. No need for formalities—we’re all colleagues here,” Ye Chen said, always easygoing.

“Alright, Ye Chen, where are we eating for lunch?” Fang Fei smiled at him. “I heard you were personally promoted by President Li. She always has a good eye—you can’t pick a shabby place for your treat!”

“Wherever you want to go,” Ye Chen replied with a chuckle.

The group headed out and made their way to the Peninsula Western Restaurant nearby. It wasn’t the best in the area, but neither was it bad; the ladies had chosen it after some discussion. Fang Fei had only joined the company last year. They didn’t know much about Ye Chen’s financial situation, but a meal here seemed affordable enough.

On the way down, they ran into Li Ruo in the elevator, on her way to lunch as well. Seeing Ye Chen surrounded by a flock of lovely women, Li Ruo frowned but said nothing. Lin Ziwen beside her also frowned. Liu Shang, ever sneaky, stared at Li Ruo, hastily took out his phone, aimed the camera, and pressed the shutter.

A flash went off. The entire elevator fell silent. Without a word, Liu Shang shoved his phone into Ye Chen’s hand. Everyone stared in shock at Ye Chen, who stood there, dumbfounded, clutching the phone.

“This guy actually tried to sneak a photo of the president’s beauty!”

“Truly a beast in human skin!”

Whispers filled the elevator as Ye Chen held the phone, his image instantly plummeting in everyone’s eyes. Overhearing the chatter, Li Ruo’s previously cold face brightened, a hint of a smile at her lips. She straightened her back and strode out of the elevator.

“Liu Shang, you bastard!” Ye Chen cursed.

“Come on, Ye Chen, spare me! I didn’t mean to!” Liu Shang darted out, with Ye Chen chasing after him. That jerk had just dumped the embarrassment on Ye Chen—unforgivable. Fang Fei and the others laughed and followed them out.

In the café, the atmosphere was calm. With a two-hour lunch break, they had plenty of time to enjoy a leisurely meal. Everyone ordered Western food and dug in with gusto. Fang Fei made a point to sit beside Ye Chen; she seemed quite taken with him. Tilting her head, she looked up at Ye Chen and asked with a smile, “Ye Chen, where did you work before?”

“That… is a secret,” Ye Chen replied, smiling.

“Stingy!” Fang Fei pouted, venting her annoyance on her steak, making Ye Chen stare at her in bemusement.

After lunch, the group’s relationship with Ye Chen was harmonious—after all, when someone treats you, it’s hard not to warm up. Perhaps that’s where the saying “a gift is hard to refuse” comes from. Ye Chen raised his wine glass. “To the elites of Sales Team One—here’s to a successful partnership and landing more deals for the company!”

“Cheers!” everyone responded enthusiastically.
