I only chose these four second-tier skills for the bow warrior and only needed these four!
Slow Arrow is specifically designed to counter high-level players and elite beasts;
Piercing Arrow is the highest damage skill among them, used to inflict maximum single-target damage with a chance for lingering damage—very effective.
Triple Bow Fusion is currently my only multi-attack skill, able to strike multiple targets simultaneously or layer attacks on a single target for multiple hits. However, if I’m not mistaken, mastering this skill requires a very high level of archery expertise...
Only through diligent practice and comprehension can one truly grasp the essence of the triple fusion, or else it’s difficult to command it with precision to hit one or multiple intended targets!
As for the last skill, the close-combat ability—Rend.
What attracted me was the stacking continuous damage effect... While it might not be very effective against monsters (since I’ve mastered the art of damage enhancement, using this might actually reduce accuracy), it could be devastating against high-level players who underestimate me!
...
Of course, these four skills are quite ordinary, at least within their own class...
Archers have many magical arrow skills to counter enemies—Frost Arrow, Thunder Arrow, Slow Arrow, Corrosive Arrow... all carry troublesome magical effects;
There are also numerous powerful attack skills. Moreover, second-tier archer skills include multi-shot abilities firing five arrows simultaneously, which are more dazzling, diverse, and practical compared to bow warriors;
Warrior skills are even more formidable, utilizing fighting spirit combined with various physical attack effects such as stun, charge, block, and knockout, surpassing archers in many ways...
However, their tremendous combat power also means significant weaknesses: extremely limited melee and ranged capabilities! While bow warriors may be slightly inferior in these areas, they cleverly combine the strengths of archers and warriors!
Melee plus ranged combat ability!
In battle, bow warriors are not as proficient in ranged attacks as archers, but if they create the opportunity to close in on archers, the archers often meet the same grim fate as wolves, easily overwhelmed!
Facing warriors is even simpler; a high-agility bow warrior can completely suppress a warrior in both melee and ranged attacks, rendering even the warrior’s flashy, powerful skills useless!
Even against other classes, a high-agility bow warrior can hold their own; and if truly outmatched, they can always employ the “fight and run” tactic...
Unfortunately!
The bow warrior class is in serious decline...
Most players in the game focus solely on leveling up and farming treasures, and seeing the bow warrior’s pitiful attack damage drives them away.
Even players who choose this class often fixate on its weaknesses—complaining their damage doesn’t match archers, their magical arrows aren’t as effective as archers’ or warriors’, or that they lack the imposing aura of warriors... These players overlook the inherent advantages of the bow warrior class and will never truly understand its essence.
In the Magic Era, there are no useless classes!
What matters is how you utilize them... how you wield the class’s strengths! Its weaknesses can be compensated for through other means!
For example, equipment...

After I settled on my class skills, Holz interrupted my reverie:
“Excellent! You are now a qualified Magic Bow Warrior. I confer upon you the title of Imperial Honorary Warrior, and I hope you continue to strive and advance quickly to the third-tier bow warrior! I believe... with your talent, you will become one of the empire’s finest warriors!” With that, Holz withdrew his gaze from me, fixed his eyes forward, and resumed his guard duty...
I shrugged. The thought that there might be ambushes from Frost City outside the walls instantly wiped away my joy at leveling up as a Magic Bow Warrior. I sighed inwardly:
“It’s no use telling me these inspiring words. If you want me to advance quickly to third-tier, it’d be more straightforward to just tell me which nearby city has monsters that are easy to farm...”
“Forget it, I’ll ask Falcon instead. If that doesn’t work, I’ll ask Big Brother Bai and his wife... After all, they’ve been in the game for over a month, so they must have left Frost City at least once.”
However!
...
“Leaving Frost City? Why! Weren’t you training well at the Forgotten Fortress? Why change locations!” When I found Falcon, he gave me a sharp glare: “Do you think every city has an amazing leveling spot like the Forgotten Fortress? One is enough; you’re being extravagant...”
But when he learned the inside story from me about tonight’s events in the Kodo Beast Valley, his eyes widened, and he slapped his thigh laughing wildly:
“Haha! You’re not joking... really? Haha! Fantastic! And so many people saw it this time, they’re definitely embarrassed now! Haha... sweet! I’ve disliked them for a long time!”
Uh, now is not the time to gloat, right? I wiped the cold sweat from my brow and pressed him: “Alright, tell me, are there any other cities nearby with leveling spots like the Forgotten Fortress?” As soon as I finished asking, Falcon struck me with two blunt blows:
“No!”
Fortunately, Falcon’s next words brightened my spirits: “But you can search the official website or explore nearby cities yourself...”
