Luo Patriarch’s men followed the Crown Prince’s party back to the place where the local tyrants had launched their attack, only to see that the ground was littered with nothing but ashes. Every one of the local tyrants had been burned to cinders. Regret rose in them like a tide.

“These local tyrants have already been reduced to ash, and their souls have also been sent on,” Qi Zifan said.

Luo Patriarch thought it over for a moment. “That is a high-level soul-purifying art. One must possess tremendous endurance to cultivate it well.”
