First of all, I want to apologize for the one-month hiatus due to my exams. Now that the exams are over, regular updates will resume.

"The Myriad Serpent Formation has actually been broken?" A snake-person stared in sheer disbelief at the unfolding scene. At this moment, the gigantic purple pattern that had hovered above Elder Ye's head, along with the colossal python, vanished into the firmament like a shower of purple meteors.

Elder Ye straightened his robes, paying no heed to the dumbfounded snake-people surrounding him. He drifted leisurely toward Lu Zhe, glanced at the unconscious youth, and a flicker of amusement crossed his eyes. With a swift sweep of his arm, he tucked Lu Zhe under his armpit. Then, turning his gaze back to the anxious and restless snake-people, he almost said something before pausing abruptly, his head snapping toward the eastern horizon.

A dazzling beam of light slowly pierced through the eastern sky, banishing the lingering darkness. The fiery red sun gradually lifted from the horizon, resembling a magnificent and brilliant ruby rising steadily into the air. Rays of morning glow painted the surroundings, while the wisps of drifting clouds resembled maidens draped in red garments, dancing gracefully. Amidst the fierce battle, dawn had imperceptibly broken.

A single round instantly ascended to the heavenly vault, driving away the myriad stars and the waning moon.

Elder Ye withdrew his gaze from the breathtaking sunrise, turned to the surrounding snake-people, and said, "I will spare your lives for now. When your Queen Aisha returns, tell her that if the opportunity arises in the future, I will pay another visit." With that, Elder Ye extended his right arm toward the palace below, fingers outstretched, and frowned slightly. An object suddenly flew out from within the palace, shooting straight toward his palm, and landed firmly in his grip moments later. Closing his right hand, Elder Ye caught the incoming item. As everyone strained their eyes to look, they realized the object in his hand was a gleaming iron mace—none other than Lu Zhe's weapon, the Meteor Mystic Mace!

Gazing at the weapon that had flown back to his hand, Elder Ye stored it away in his spatial ring. Then, flicking his robes and kicking off the empty air, his body shot straight upward into the sky.

Watching Elder Ye slowly ascend, a snake-person below suddenly shouted at the top of his lungs, "Don't let him escape! If he gets away and the Queen comes back, we'll all be in deep trouble!"

Hearing this, perhaps intimidated by the majesty of the so-called Queen, a few snake-people gave chase. However, mindful of the terrifying strength Elder Ye had just displayed, they did not dare get too close and trailed behind at a sluggish pace.

Just as Elder Ye was about to fly out of reach, a snake-person suddenly seemed to recall something and exclaimed, "Right! We still have the Two Elders!"

At these words, enlightenment dawned upon the snake-people, and they chimed in unanimously, "That's right! We still have the Two Elders!"

"As long as we summon the Two Elders, we won't have to fear not being able to beat him!"

"Indeed! The Two Elders are so powerful that even if he possesses strength comparable to theirs, two hands cannot fight four fists. He definitely won't be a match for the Two Elders!"

"That's right, even if he stands toe-to-toe with the Two Elders, we are still here. With our assistance, there's no way we won't capture him!"

"Quick, hurry and invite the Two Elders out!"

"Alright, then we must trouble the Two Elders to step forth and help us deal with him." The snake-person who seemed to be the leader pondered for a moment after hearing the others, finally nodded, drew a delicate little flute from his bosom, and placed it to his lips. Instantly, a crisp and melodious flute tune echoed across the vast expanse of the sky.

Elder Ye, preparing to depart, heard the conversation of the snake-people below and furrowed his brow, deeply intrigued by their mention of the "Two Elders." Pausing in mid-air to ponder for a moment, he decided to stay and meet this duo they spoke of.

The flute music continued to resonate through the empty sky, growing louder and louder. Finally, as the newborn sun reached its zenith, two powerful auras of spiritual energy surged from a sand dune on the southern side of the city.

The formidable spiritual pressure swept outward like a rising tide, quickly reaching the spot where Elder Ye stood. Feeling this overwhelming pressure, Elder Ye's brow twitched—not out of fear, but because he was astonished to find that this spiritual aura gave him a sense of sudden familiarity.

"What is going on?" Elder Ye murmured in confusion as he sensed the familiar pressure.

"Ah, it's the Two Elders! This is the spiritual pressure of the Two Elders!" Down below, the snake-person who had just played the flute cried out in excitement upon feeling the oppressive might.

Watching the cheering and leaping snake-people below, Elder Ye chuckled softly. Remaining motionless, he stood quietly in the air; his interest in the so-called "Two Elders" had been piqued, and it would be a shame to leave without meeting them.

The surging spiritual energy quickly receded. About the time it took to brew a cup of tea after the energy fully retreated, the very sand dune in the south from which the pressure had originated began to tremble. Waves of sand rolled one after another, and suddenly, a patch of sand at a certain spot on the dune erupted upward like a fountain straight into the sky, with two figures appearing at the apex of the sand geyser.

"It's the Two Elders!" Seeing the figures atop the sand fountain, the snake-people began to dance with joy.

The two figures standing at the peak of the sand fountain swayed slightly, then stepped into the void and walked upward. As they ascended, the sand fountain beneath their feet gradually subsided, finally retreating back into the dune, which resumed its original appearance.

Observing the two figures walking toward him through the air, Elder Ye felt a mild surge of surprise and muttered to himself, "Oh? To think they are actually two Spirit Monarch experts. It seems the snake-person tribe deserves its reputation as the chief of the six major tribes."

The two figures walked slowly through the air toward Elder Ye's location, their pace quite leisurely. After the time it takes to burn a stick of incense, the two figures finally reached the side of the flute-playing snake-person.

Earlier, the distance had been too great for Elder Ye to discern their features. It was only when they arrived beside the flute-playing snake-person that he saw them clearly: two elderly snake-people with frost-white temples—one male and one female.

The flute-playing snake-person approached the two figures, bowed deeply, and said respectfully, "This junior greets the Two Elders."

The old man standing on the left glanced at the flute-playing snake-person and said with considerable annoyance, "Didn't I say not to disturb our secluded life as a couple unless something major happened?"

The flute-playing snake-person hastily replied, "Yes, yes. If this opponent weren't so formidable, we wouldn't dare disturb you two elders."

"Forget it. Besides, we haven't been out to stretch our bones in a long time; we might as well take this chance to get some fresh air." The old man waved a hand dismissively and asked, "By the way, is that the opponent you were talking about?" With that, he pointed a finger at Elder Ye in the sky.

The flute-playing snake-person hurriedly answered, "Yes, yes, exactly him! He is truly formidable. Not only did he slaughter our fellow snake-people, but he also shattered our guardian grand formation, the 'Myriad Serpent Formation'!"

"Oh? Such a thing happened?" The old man said in surprise upon hearing the flute-player's words. He then waved his hand to dismiss the subordinate, turned to the elderly woman beside him, and said, "Old woman, let's go meet him."

The elderly woman nodded, and the two stepped into the air once more, arriving directly before Elder Ye.

Gazing at the two elders ahead of him, Elder Ye narrowed his eyes for a moment before suddenly throwing his head back and laughing heartily. This laughter completely baffled the two elders. Looking at the laughing Elder Ye, the old man asked in bewilderment, "Young man, what are you laughing at?"

Hearing this, Elder Ye laughed even harder. After a moment, he finally stopped, looked at the two elders before him, and said, "You two, it's been a long, long time."

Upon hearing these words, the expressions of the two elderly snake-people changed drastically. Then, the old man's face darkened as a trace of anger seeped into his voice, "It's actually you, Ye Liu!"
