“You’re awake.” Hearing Lu Zhe’s faint call, the Elder Healer looked down at him calmly and then helped him up from the round platform.

“I… what happened to me just now?” Lu Zhe asked weakly, panting slightly.

The Elder Healer frowned in confusion. “You don’t remember what just happened?”

Lu Zhe shook his head, then furrowed his brow and tried to recall. “I remember fighting Lei Hu, I defeated him, but then someone attacked me from behind. With the ash cleared, the Elder Healer’s eyes glimmered coldly as he looked at the white-robed man before him. “It’s you.”

The newcomer was none other than Zhuo Feng, who had fought the Elder Healer earlier.

“Master!” Seeing the Elder Healer coughing blood, Lu Zhe leapt down from the platform and rushed to support him. Panting, he anxiously asked, “What’s wrong, Master?”

Swallowing hard, the Elder Healer touched his chest and, with Lu Zhe’s help, stood up, his anger evident. “You’ve poisoned me.”

“Hahaha, you’re only realizing that now?” Zhuo Feng sneered.

Gritting his teeth, Lu Zhe growled, “You bastard,” and charged forward, fist clenched, aiming at Zhuo Feng.

“Zhe’er, no!” The Elder Healer reached to stop him but missed, helplessly watching Lu Zhe rush at Zhuo Feng.

“Oh?” Zhuo Feng murmured in surprise as Lu Zhe’s fist came toward him. Smiling, he caught the punch effortlessly.

“Light as a feather, tickling,” Zhuo Feng sneered, twisting Lu Zhe’s fist and then driving his knee hard into Lu Zhe’s abdomen, sending him flying backward.

“Pfft!” Lu Zhe spat blood midair, arching his body as he hurtled back.

“Zhe’er!” The Elder Healer shouted as he sprang up and caught Lu Zhe just before he hit the ground.

As he caught Lu Zhe, Zhuo Feng leapt up, extending his left palm to strike the two suspended in midair.

“Don’t get cocky!” The Elder Healer growled, embracing the injured Lu Zhe with his right arm and striking out with his left palm. The two palms collided with a heavy thud.

The impact echoed deeply. Locked in a fierce clash, neither side yielded as they battled midair.

Glancing down at the injured Lu Zhe in his arms, the Elder Healer realized this wasn’t working. Suddenly, he added strength to his left palm and struck Zhuo Feng, sending him flying hard.

Like a floating leaf, the Elder Healer descended to the ground and urgently shook the unconscious Lu Zhe. “Zhe’er, Zhe’er, wake up, wake up!”
