March 6th: Launch Announcement!
I am Baili Xi, the author of "Online Game: City Conquest in the Three Kingdoms." I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the support and affection from so many readers over the past two months. My thanks also go to Qidian, this outstanding reading platform, and to my editors, Huang Quan, Hu Shuo, and others, whose recommendations have helped this book achieve its current success. (I must also thank the Qidian staff who designed the cover for me—it looks fantastic! Haha.)
Since the book’s launch, I’ve seen the same three comments appear most often in the review section:
1. Great book—an outstanding trend-setter among Three Kingdoms online game novels, a top-tier construction novel. (Great book)
2. Please don’t drop this! If you do, I’ll be furious! (Don’t drop it)
3. Hurry up and update! I can’t wait any longer, it’s killing me! Does anyone know of another great city-building story to tide me over? (More updates)
These comments truly fill me with both honor and a bit of shame. In addition, many readers have shared ideas and suggestions in the reviews, helping to improve the book’s flaws. It’s thanks to everyone’s efforts that the story has come this far.
Now, as the book is about to be put on the shelves, I hope everyone will continue to support it. As we all know, only subscriptions are the strongest guarantee that a book won’t be abandoned. Without subscriptions, even the best book can’t go far.
Reading "City Conquest" on Qidian costs just twenty cents a day—over six months, that’s only about ten yuan. Such a small amount is enough to keep the book going. Expecting the horse to run without feeding it cannot sustain a good book for long. If low subscription numbers sap my motivation to write, it would be truly regrettable.
If you genuinely enjoy this book, please subscribe—even just a little support each day makes a difference.
Thank you all!
My writing speed isn’t particularly fast; four thousand words a day is my usual pace. If I write with total focus, perhaps over eight thousand words a day. However, due to health reasons, I can’t sit at the computer for long stretches, so recently I’ve only managed about four thousand words a day. I can promise, though, that once the book is on the shelves, I will do my utmost to write as much as possible.
Regarding VIP updates after the book is on the shelves:
1. Two chapters per day, each about four thousand words. Updates will be at midnight and 6 p.m. (There may be bigger bursts—don’t forget to vote for me!)
2. How long do I plan to write this book? Well, as some of you have guessed, with more than 250,000 words already written just for the opening, this construction novel will be both long and satisfying.
My aim is to write a classic, super-long online game novel set in the Three Kingdoms, giving everyone as much enjoyment as possible.
The VIP chapters will start updating tonight at midnight—please show your support!
The Yellow Turban main quest is finally about to begin.
