Inside the train, Herta was still swiping through the screen at high speed.

Meanwhile, Asta had selected the battleship she wanted to buy, but she was a little short on Stellar Jades.

[Commodity: Stellar-class Battleship]
[Description: A Stellar-class battleship capable of accommodating a crew of 100,000, fully equipped with comprehensive facilities. Its main cannon running at full power can shatter stars.]
[Price: 1 million Stellar Coins.]

Asta looked at Ye Yun and pleaded, "Ye Yun, I want to buy this, but my Stellar Jades aren't quite enough. Can you hold it for me? I'll have someone gather the Stellar Jades as soon as I get back."

Ye Yun smiled and agreed. Among his customers, Herta aside, probably only Asta would be interested in this kind of thing. Besides, as long as he had enough Stellar Coins, the system could easily produce even a hundred of them.

"Sure, I'll hold it for you. Let's add each other's contacts so you can reach out when you're ready to buy."

Overjoyed to hear Ye Yun's consent, Asta took out her phone and added his contact information. "Thank you, Ye Yun."

Ye Yun shook his head, indicating it was no big deal. Afterward, Asta walked aside to contact people about gathering Stellar Jades.

Ye Yun turned to Herta. "Well, haven't you found what you want to buy yet?"

Herta shook her head. "I have, but I don't have enough money. Care to give me a discount?"

Ye Yun spread his hands. "Nothing I can do about that. Small business here, strictly no credit."

Herta let out a scoff and cast a contemptuous look at Ye Yun. "Stint."

She turned away, thought for a moment, and spent 10,000 Stellar Coins to buy a probe.

[Commodity: Protoss Probe]
[Description: A Protoss "Builder" unit capable of materializing structures using resource projection.]
[Price: 10,000 Stellar Coins]

Looking at the cute, round-headed little probe beside Herta that kept looking around, Ye Yun couldn't figure out what she wanted it for. "What are you buying this for?"

Herta patted the little probe's smooth, shiny head. "Buying it to modify it. I happen to be lacking a mechanical assistant."

Noticing its master patting its head, the little probe looked up. "Beep~ Beep~"

Herta jumped down from her barstool and called out to Asta, who was nearby, "Asta, let's go. We're heading back."

Coming back to her senses, Asta followed Herta out of Ye Yun's shop.

...

After Herta and Asta returned to Herta's Space Station via starskiff, Herta took the probe straight into her laboratory.

Asta stood outside the door, and it wasn't long before she heard the pitiful cries of the little probe echoing from within.

"Beep!!!! Beep!!!!"

Half an hour later, Herta walked out with a brand-new little probe.

Asta looked at the probe, feeling like nothing had changed at all. "Ms. Herta, what modifications did you make to it? It looks completely identical to me."

Herta patted the probe's head. "Dunderhead No. 1, store that potted plant."

"Dunderhead No. 1" was the name Herta had given the probe. Since the probe was basically just a head with nothing else to its body, Herta had come up with that name.

Dunderhead No. 1 shot a beam of light at the potted plant Herta pointed to. Visible to the naked eye, the plant shrank and flew into the probe's body.

Herta explained, "I upgraded its intelligence system, added a folded spatial dimension inside, and installed a shrinking prism that can reduce the size of objects."

Dunderhead No. 1 even let out a couple of cooperative bleeps and spun around Herta.

Herta continued, "This way, I won't have to run around looking for materials when doing experiments anymore. I can just have Dunderhead No. 1 pack them away for me."

Hearing this, Asta was extremely astonished. Dunderhead No. 1 was indeed incredibly convenient; she kind of wanted one herself. She could use it to store her cosmetics, clothes, all sorts of jewelry, documents, and the like. Whenever she didn't want them lying around, she could leave them with Dunderhead No. 1, and whenever she needed them, she could just have Dunderhead No. 1 take them out.

Seeing the yearning look in Asta's eyes, Herta said, "Go buy a probe from Ye Yun, and I'll modify it for you when you get back."

A smile bloomed across Asta's face. "Really?! Ms. Herta!"

Herta nodded. "Yeah, it's no trouble at all. Go ahead and do your thing, I'm taking Dunderhead No. 1 with me."

With that, Herta headed to the platform with Dunderhead No. 1, ready to take a starskiff to her main body.

After Herta left, Asta contacted Himeko, asking her to help buy a probe, promising to pay her back later. Himeko agreed and bought one on her behalf.

...

Shifting the focus back to the train.

After Herta and Asta left, Ye Yun looked around, then suddenly widened his eyes.

Wait a minute! Why hadn't Silver Wolf left yet? Didn't Kafka already leave?

In Ye Yun's view, Silver Wolf had monopolized an entire booth, and at some point, an ultra-large-screen monitor had appeared on the table.

Sitting cross-legged on the sofa with a lazy-boy pillow propped up behind her as a backrest, Silver Wolf held a game controller in her hands, wore headphones on her head, and played games with intense enthusiasm.

She was even muttering to herself, "Take that! Eat Old Sun's staff! Hehe! Dodge! You little tiger, laughable, simply laughable!"

Ye Yun walked over to investigate. Just as he approached, Silver Wolf abruptly slammed her controller down.

"Damn it! What kind of ridiculous mechanic is this?! I refuse to believe I can't get past a tiny Tiger Vanguard like you today!"

Interrupting her, Ye Yun pulled off her headphones.

Silver Wolf looked up at him. "What are you doing? Why'd you take my headphones off? Don't bother me."

Ye Yun asked, "Kafka's already gone. Aren't you going back?"

Silver Wolf explained, "Elio said I'm stationed at your place from now on. What, are you trying to kick me out?"

Ye Yun didn't really mind. "No, but why did Elio tell you to be stationed here?"

Silver Wolf picked up her controller and shrugged. "I don't get it either, but that's what he said. By the way, do you have any rooms left here? Mind renting me one?"

Ye Yun shook his head. "I don't have any here. You can go ask Himeko."

Reluctantly, Silver Wolf got off the sofa and went to find Himeko.

A short while later, Silver Wolf returned.

Ye Yun asked, "Well? Did you manage to rent one?"

Silver Wolf spread her hands. "Nope. She said there are no rooms left, and even Stelle has to share a room with someone else."

Glancing at the booth before her, Silver Wolf noted that the space was quite nice with glass partitions all around. "Are you renting out this booth?"

Ye Yun raised an eyebrow. "You surely don't want to live *here*, do you?"

Silver Wolf nodded. "Back at the base, I spent most of my time living on the living room sofa anyway. Isn't your place the same? Renting it out or not?"

Ye Yun couldn't help but laugh and cry. This Silver Wolf was truly a gaming addict; living on a sofa long-term probably meant she constantly stayed up late playing games.

"Forget about the rent. If you want to live here, just live here."

Satisfied, Silver Wolf patted Ye Yun on the shoulder. "Stand-up guy! Call me whenever you need help in the future—if I can help, I will."

With that, Silver Wolf summoned her keyboard and began using aether editing to modify the booth.
