After tossing the small bag of star gems onto the table, Xier plopped down onto the nearby sofa.

“Natasha, what are you collecting these star gems for?”

Natasha counted the star gems Xier had brought back—160 in total. Adding the ones in the burlap sack, there were 1,525 altogether.

“You’ll find out tomorrow. Come to me first thing in the morning.”

Xier grew even more puzzled at this.

“What do you have planned for tomorrow?”

Natasha didn’t answer Xier directly but instead asked a question.

“How did you find tonight’s meal?”

At the mention of dinner, Xier couldn’t help but lick her lips.

The plain white rice was incredibly fragrant! Even without any side dishes, it was delicious. Xier had eaten three full bowls tonight and was utterly stuffed.

“It was delicious! By the way, where did all this white rice come from? And it was unlimited too. Natasha, have our underground fires made us rich?”

Natasha picked up a single star gem and shook it in front of Xier.

“If you call it getting rich, then yes, we’ve gotten rich.”

“That bowl of rice you had tonight was bought with just one star gem. That’s enough rice to last you a whole month.”

Xier was stunned.

What! These stones called star gems were actually so valuable?

She immediately regretted how she had carelessly tossed aside star gems she’d gotten after defeating monsters guarding treasure chests before.

Oh my! How much food had she thrown away!

Xier wished she could go back in time and give her past self a stern scolding—to change that bad habit of throwing things everywhere!

Natasha watched Xier clutch her chest in regret and found it quite amusing.

This Xier, aside from fighting, loved food the most.

To be precise, no child growing up in the lower city district didn’t love good food.

“Tomorrow, we’ll take these star gems to trade for rice. So, come early, and get some rest tonight.”

Upon hearing this, Xier jumped up and headed straight home to sleep.

“See you tomorrow, Natasha.”

Natasha sighed helplessly as the door shook from Xier slamming it shut with too much force.

“That Xier… always so fiery and impulsive.”

The next day.

After breakfast, Ye Yun, Hook, and Clara headed straight to Panyan Town.

Before leaving, Ye Yun handed Swaro a phone and added his contact information.

So that when Swaro needed supplies, he could get in touch with Ye Yun.

Panyan Town was near the gates of Rivet Town.

Natasha, along with Oleg, Xier, and a large group of underground fire members waited there.

Xier was growing impatient; she had been standing around for over two hours already.

“Natasha, that guy—what was his name again? He’s not going to stand us up, is he?”

Natasha shook her head.

“No, the mech yesterday came from Swaro. Ye Yun is probably staying with Swaro, so it’ll take some time for him to get here.”

Xier pouted at Natasha’s words.

If it weren’t for the fact that the other side would be trading a large amount of supplies with them soon, she would have turned and left immediately.

Over half an hour later.

The trio appeared in everyone’s sight.

“Sorry everyone, we're a bit late,” Ye Yun apologized, cupping his hands.

Natasha smiled and shook her head.

“No worries, we just arrived not long ago.”

Xier muttered discontentedly nearby.

“What do you mean ‘just arrived’? We’ve been here all morning!”

Unbeknownst to Xier, although her voice was low, she wasn’t far from Ye Yun.

Natasha also heard Xier’s complaint.

“Sorry about her, Ye Yun. That’s just how Xier is.”

Ye Yun smiled.

“No problem. Let’s go; time to trade.”

Natasha immediately led the way.

They walked through various streets to a warehouse.

Natasha took out the 1,525 star gems collected the day before.

“Ye Yun, see how much we can exchange these for?”

Ye Yun glanced at the burlap sack of star gems, then took out an exchange scale. After teaching Natasha how to use it, he let her decide what supplies to trade for.

Xier found the exchange scale fascinating—it seemed like a little money-spitting machine.

“Hey, uh… Ye Yun, do you have another one of those scales? Can you sell me one for fun?”

Ye Yun smiled.

“That’s not for sale.”

Xier perked up.

“Oh? I didn’t know you merchants are so profit-driven. What if I pay extra?”

Ye Yun still shook his head.

Finding this boring, Xier wandered off to Natasha to watch the proceedings.

Ten minutes later.

Natasha had chosen the supplies she wanted.

She handed the purchase list and 152,500 star coins to Ye Yun.

Ye Yun reached out and released all the supplies Natasha had bought.

In less than a minute, the entire warehouse was packed full.

Natasha had to requisition several nearby houses to store the rest.

She looked gratefully at Ye Yun.

“Thank you, Ye Yun.”

“No need to thank me. Money for goods, straightforward.”

At this moment, Natasha thought of Xing, March Seven, and Dan Heng.

“Oh right, Ye Yun, four people came to my clinic yesterday—three women and one man—from beyond the sky. Do you want to check them out?”

Ye Yun heard this and realized these must be Xing and the others.

Judging by the time, they should be here about now.

“Oh? I’ll go take a look. You keep busy here.”

Natasha called over Xier.

“Xier, take Ye Yun to the clinic.”

Xier agreed immediately.

After seeing the massive amount of supplies, Xier’s attitude toward Ye Yun had completely changed.

Waiting too long? Well, that was to be expected. This was an important patron! They had to be well taken care of!

“All right! Leave it to me!”

Hook leaned over to Clara and whispered.

“Clara, don’t you think Xier is so practical?”

Clara nodded.

“Yeah.”

Xier stepped in front of Ye Yun and gestured politely.

“Right this way, sir~”

Ye Yun smiled.

“No need to be so formal, Xier. Just be normal.”

Xier straightened up.

“All right, let’s go. The clinic is this way.”

Inside the clinic.

March Seven and Dan Heng had already woken up.

They stood in the room discussing what to do next.

“I want to go outside and see if I can find any clues about the star core,” March Seven said thoughtfully.

“You go first. I’ll stay here and watch over Xing. She hasn’t woken up yet,” Dan Heng replied, glancing at Xing lying on the bed.

“All right, I’ll look for clues and keep in touch.”

As he spoke, Dan Heng started to head out.

At that moment, a noise came from outside the door.

Dan Heng stopped, wary, watching the entrance.

The door handle turned, and the door pushed open from outside.

A familiar figure appeared in the doorway.

March Seven exclaimed joyfully.

“Ye Yun! What are you doing here?”
