Volume One, Chapter 14: The Fierce Tigers Gang of West City
The three off-road vehicles rapidly closing in behind made Xiao Yudie a bit anxious, but feeling the warmth radiating from Li Ya’s palm was like a soothing balm to her nerves.
“Boss, what should we do? Should we call the police?”
“No need to rush to call the police yet.”
Li Ya let out a cold smile, then gently pressed the accelerator. The modified Maybach shot forward like a streak of black lightning!
The occupants of the three SUVs were dumbfounded at the sight.
“What are you staring at? Floor it! We have to catch up—this is a big catch!”
Though the SUV drivers pressed harder on the gas, their vehicles were heavy, and with Li Ya’s Maybach being specially modified, they could only watch the taillights fade into the distance.
Seeing the three SUVs vanish from the rearview mirror, Xiao Yudie finally exhaled in relief. She lightly patted her chest, her prominent curves rising and falling with each breath.
Li Ya glanced back briefly, then quickly averted his gaze, nearly distracted by the deep cleavage.

“We finally shook them off. Who the hell are those guys, daring to hijack a car so openly?”

Li Ya sneered coldly. A hundred meters ahead, at a junction, three SUVs and two sedans had completely blocked the road.
The screech of tires grated sharply against the stillness of the night.
“Stay inside the car. I’ll go check it out.”
With that, Li Ya unbuckled his seatbelt and prepared to step out, but Xiao Yudie suddenly pulled him back.
“Boss, what are you doing? Don’t you see all those people ahead? They mean trouble. You can’t get out!”
Around Li Ya’s Maybach, more than a dozen burly men had already gathered, wielding long knives and iron rods, faces twisted with menace.
“Boss, I forgot to mention—the Maybach’s been armored and modified. They won’t break in easily. Let’s call the police; they shouldn’t take long to arrive.”
“Don’t be impulsive. Stay inside!”
Li Ya was momentarily stunned by her meticulousness—she hadn’t just upgraded the engine, but had also reinforced the body with bulletproof armor.
“It’s nothing. Just a bunch of thugs. I want to find out who they’re working for.”
Without waiting, Li Ya pushed open the door and stepped out.
“You’re the driver from Luoshen Group? This isn’t your business—better get lost!”
From the crowd emerged a bald man in a black vest, standing nearly six feet tall with a muscular build. In his hand was a half-meter-long machete.
“I am from Luoshen Group. Who are you? Why are you blocking the road? Aren’t you afraid we’ll call the police?”
The dozen or so burly men burst into laughter, as if hearing the most ridiculous joke.
“Kid, I’ll say this once more—this isn’t your business. Get lost while you still can.”
“I’m in a good mood today, so I’ll spare your life. But say one more word and I’ll slice you into meat buns for you to eat!”

“Everyone, stop!”
Xiao Yudie slammed open her door, her brows knitted tightly with a chilling expression.
From the bald man’s words, she knew these vicious men had targeted her.
Though frightened, she refused to let Li Ya get dragged into trouble because of her.
“Are you from the Fierce Tiger Gang in the Western District?”
She noticed the tiger tattoo on the bald man's neck and recognized the gang.
“Boss, the Fierce Tiger Gang is an underground force in the Western District. They’re known for their aggressiveness and love of violence. The recent unrest in Luocheng’s underworld is largely due to their sudden rise.”
“I’ve heard their core leaders are all desperados—cold-blooded killers without mercy.”
Xiao Yudie lightly tugged at Li Ya’s sleeve, urging him to retreat to the car with her.
But Li Ya shrugged with a smile.
“At this point, trying to leave might be too late.”
As he spoke, a roar approached from behind. The three SUVs that had chased them earlier had now arrived, sealing off their escape.
In total, more than twenty burly men surrounded Li Ya and Xiao Yudie tightly.
“Do you know who I am? I am Xiao Yudie! Backed by Luoshen Group! Dare touch me, and you’ll wish you were dead!”
Though familiar with the storms of the business world, facing the ruthless Fierce Tiger Gang left her genuinely shaken.
She could only invoke the name of Luoshen Group now.
Luoshen Group was a colossal powerhouse; even the underground factions gave them some respect.
At the mention of Luoshen Group, the bald man’s eyes flickered with caution. His restraint from attacking immediately was due solely to their influence.
“Hmph! Xiao Yudie, don’t be shameless. Come quietly, or I’ll turn your driver into minced meat for you to eat!”

Isn’t a driver human?!

Li Ya’s expression turned icy. These fools dared to harass Xiao Yudie in front of him—asking for death.

Li Ya moved with lightning speed. Before anyone could react, he was in front of the closest blond man.
His grip was like a vice, crushing the man’s wrist.
A blood-curdling scream tore through the silent street.
“Ah!!! My hand! Help, boss!”
A fourth-stage Qi cultivator, Li Ya’s martial skill was equivalent to innate mastery. He shattered the blond man’s wrist so completely it couldn’t be mended.

As he spoke, Li Ya casually tossed the pale-faced blond several meters away, who crashed hard onto the ground and immediately lost consciousness.
The Fierce Tiger Gang members were momentarily stunned, shaken by Li Ya’s formidable skill and cold glare.
